Honda Civic with MOMO Street Racers GT Seats

The Honda Civic is a line of subcompact/compact cars manufactured by Honda. In the United States of America, the Civic is the second-longest continuously-running nameplate from a Japanese manufacturer; only the Toyota Corolla, introduced in 1968, has been in production longer. The Civic, along with the Accord and Prelude, comprised Honda's vehicles sold in North America until the 1990s, when the model lineup was expanded. Having gone through several generational changes, the Civic has become larger and more upmarket, and it currently slots between the Fit and Accord.

It was introduced in July 1972 as a two-door coupe, followed by a three-door hatchback that September. With the transverse engine mounting of its 1169 cc engine and front-wheel drive like the British Mini, the car provided good interior space despite overall small dimensions. Early models of the Civic were typically outfitted with a basic AM radio, a rudimentary heater, foam-cushioned plastic trim, two-speed wipers and painted steel rims with a chromed wheel nut cap. The current Civic has become much more luxurious with air conditioning, power locks, and power windows, plus options like leather upholstery, satellite-linked navigation, and a six-speed manual transmission. Initially gaining a reputation for being fuel-efficient, reliable and environmentally friendly, later iterations have become well-known for performance and sportiness, especially the Civic Type-R and Civic Si.

If you are truly looking to style up your Civic, then good custom seats are a logical upgrade.  There are many aftermarket companies out there that produce quality bucket racing seats for either road or track use.  Prices can vary from a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars for top of the line seats depending on your taste and the size of your bankroll.

Beside the bling effect of having some sweet looking Street Racer GT racing seats in your vehicle there are some performance benefits.  Because racings seats are made out of lighter materials than your factory seats they reduce the overall weight of your vehicle which is always a positive for tuning.

Street Racer GT Racing Seats are universal for all vehicles; however, all Street Racer GT seats will need to latch to a seats rail, which is car specific.  Make sure there is a rail available for your vehicle, or otherwise you can customize your stock one to fit your aftermarket GT seats.

MOMO Seats, the maker of the popular Street Racer GT seats is one of the heavy hitters in the aftermarket seats industry.  Many others try to match the quality of craftsmanship of the Street Racer GT seats but few succeed.

The Street Racer GT is an adjustable backrest, with built-in thigh support sports seat which is suitable for fast road use.  Covered in black fabric with the recognizable yellow embroidered MOMO Logo across the headrest so all the lookers can see how you roll. The Street Racer GT also features a flip-forward mechanism for easy access to the rear seats when fitted to two door cars.  Bottom mounted for ease of installation and equipped to accept 4 point harness restraints.

Street Racer GT Seats offer the best of performance, comfort and style to your ride. MOMO Street Racer GT Seats are found in a number of today's top performance vehicles from the factory.
