Nissan Versa with Bride Ergo II Seats

The Versa was introduced in the United States and Canada in July 2006 as a 2007 model. North and Latin American models of the Tiida use a DOHC 1.8 L gasoline engine and are assembled at Nissan's Aguascalientes, Mexico assembly plant. It is also the only Nissan 4-door passenger car in the United States and Canada to be sold worldwide, since the Sentra, Altima and Maxima are exclusive to North America.

The Versa is Nissan's current entry-level model in North America, while the Nissan Sentra, the previous entry-level model, moved up market with its latest redesign. While both the Versa and Sentra are essentially compact cars, the Versa's competition includes subcompacts such as the Honda Fit and Toyota Yaris, while the Sentra is positioned against the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla.

The North American Versa debuted at the 2006 North American International Auto Show in January of the same year. The hatchback model was introduced first, with the sedan arriving later at the end of the year. Both vehicles are 2007 models. The Versa is powered by a 1.8 L I4 MR Series engine producing 122 hp and 127 ft•lbf.  Three transmissions are offered: a 4-speed automatic, a continuously variable transmission, and a 6-speed manual. It is the only car in its class to offer a six-speed manual transmission as standard equipment.

If you are truly looking to style up your Nissan Versa, then good custom seats are a logical upgrade.  There are many aftermarket companies out there that produce quality bucket racing seats for either road or track use.  Prices can vary from a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars for top of the line seats depending on your taste and the size of your bankroll.

Beside the bling effect of having some sweet looking Ergo II racing seats in your vehicle there are some performance benefits.  Because Ergo II racings seats are made out of lighter materials than your factory seats they reduce the overall weight of your vehicle which is always a positive for tuning.

Ergo II Racing Seats are universal for all vehicles; however, all Ergo II seats will need to latch to a seats rail, which is car specific.  Make sure there is a rail available for your vehicle, or otherwise you can customize your stock one to fit your aftermarket seats.

Bride Seats, the maker of the popular Ergo II seat is one of the heavy hitters in the aftermarket seat industry.  Many others try to match the quality of craftsmanship of the Ergo II seat but few succeed.  This seat model is more ergonomically designed to fit the needs of daily driving without sacrificing the seats holding performance. Using a completely new Bride fabric material, and a redesigned head, shoulder, side, and knee support, the ERGO II model seat was born.
